February 2006 — The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) is carrying out a study on Open Educational Resources in higher education. One part of that study is a web based survey for individual teachers, instructors, and researchers using or producing OER. CERI invites anyone working in an institution of higher education who is using or producing open learning content (e.g., courses, courseware, content modules, learning objects, collections, and journals, or open software tools to develop, use, re-use, and deliver learning content) to complete the survey. It will not take more than 10-15 minutes to complete. The deadline is 30 April 2006. The survey is at http://www2.oecd.org/survey/Surveys/TakeSurvey.asp. Respondents will receive a free electronic copy of the final report. For more information regarding the study, please refer to http://www.oecd.org/edu/oer.
