June 2005 — HEAL encourages health sciences educators to take advantage of a stimulating program at the Ninth Annual Meeting of the International Association of Medical Science Educators (IAMSE), to be hosted by USC's Keck School of Medicine at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, on July 16-19, 2005. HEAL and IAMSE are forging a strong partnership for outreach to faculty members about shared resources and faculty development opportunities. As part of this new partnership, HEAL co-director Sebastian Uijtdehaage will present a workshop on "Publishing and Reviewing Medical Education Resources" at the Innovations in Technology Supported Learning segment of the program on Sunday July 17.
